I work as Docent (Associate Professor) within the field of Textile Management, where I focus on operations and supply chain management research related to an eclectic mix of topics, such as resilient organizations, reverse and circular supply chains, digital and “local” production and sustainability.

I have worked recently in a number of nationally- and internationally- funded projects, e.g. “FromRolltoBag, FBD_BModel, DIGIMODE, Re-textile, among others. I am also co-coordinator of an Erasmus Mundus PhD Program (EMJD) on Sustainable Management and Textile Design (SMDTex) funded by the European Commission in the framework of Erasmus Plus (2013-21).

I hold a PhD in Engineering Science from Tampere University of Technology, Finland and have been working at the University of Borås since 2009. Previously, I have experience working in both textile and software sectors. I am also listed as an expert in EURATEX’s Textile Flagship on Digital Fashion (TFE6).
