The Swedish School of Library and Information Science, SSLIS, collaborates with partners in Sweden and in the world. Whereas international and national research projects are listed elsewhere, other kinds of international cooperation projects are found below and to the left.
Supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida, SSLIS cooperates with the University of Rwanda. and in particular with its university library. This is a five year research capacity strenghtening project, launched in August 2013.
Supported by the European Commission and its Leonardo da Vinci programme, SSLIS also partners with the National Libraries of Latvia and Lithuania in a project aiming at developing effective training tools for qualification improvement in the library sector, ETQI.
The seventh framework action programme Marie Curie, also enables SSLIS to work with the project DiXiT, Digital Scholarly Editions Initial Training Network, an international network of high-profile institutions from the public and the private sector with a training and research programme on digital scholarly editing.
