New Databases

Bloomsbury Design library

Design and crafts from around the world, with full text and plenty of footage. Bloomsbury's database includes, among other things, the "Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Design" and "World History of Design" besides this you will also find featured articles of hundreds of well-known designers.

Idunn Tidsskrifter

Full-text articles from roughly 60 journals from the Norwegian publishing company Universitetsforlaget. Social sciences, Pedagogy, economics, Life sciences, Nursing and health and other subjects. Below is a sample of the journals in full text:

International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS)

The database includes over 3 million bibliographic references to journal articles and to books, reviews and selected chapters dating back to 1951. It is unique in its broad coverage of international material and incorporates over 100 languages and countries. It provides cross-disciplinary coverage across the social sciences, focused on four primary subject areas: anthropology, economics, political science and sociology.


Statista is a large international statistics and market data platform with access to more than 1.5 million statistics, forecasts, dossiers, reports and infographics on 80,000 topics from more than 18,000 sources. The platform combines economic data, consumer insights, opinion polls and demographic trends.

All data can be downloaded in 4 different office formats. Every student, lecturer and member of staff receives full publication and usage rights of the data.

Changes in interfaces, vendors and more

Fashion Photography Archive

Is part of Bloomsbury Fashion Central with Berg Fashion Library and Fairchild Books Library. This is a complement with photos of runways during 30 years. The pictures may be used for education and by students. Here you will also find texts about famous fashion designers and entire fashion houses.
