Information seeking

Search support

During a search support session, you and the librarians will search together. The starting point is your information need and you discuss which types of information that may be relevant. In addition, it is positive if you can describe previous searches that you have done, and then you jointly build up search blocks and broaden and delimit the search iteratively to find as much relevant information as possible.

Search request

During a search request, it's the librarian who is conducting all searches. A search assignment starts after an introduction meeting during which you and the librarian jointly agree on the scope of the assignment and document this in a simple agreement. The search request is done at an hourly cost.
