EndNote is a reference management software. It is used to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays and articles.

NOTE! At the moment, there is a problem with the EndNote application on Mac's Sierra OS version 10.12.5. The problem is that if you open pdf files through EndNote, the entire program is likely to lock. EndNote and Apple are working on a solution for this. / 2017-08-10

Endnote can adapt to your own work in different ways. The program is available as a web application that you always have with you, regardless of where you work, and on the computer at the moment. You can also download EndNote to your computer. Use your login provided by the University. EndNote is also available as an app for the iPad. With it you can search the Web of Knowledge, which is a database of bibliographic information and save them to your EndNote Web account. Also the app Refscan is based on EndNote.

UB has developed output styles for EndNote according to our Guide to Harvard referencing. To download this to a computer outside of the University network: Open the file below, choose open with EndNote, choose "Save as" and save the file. The style is now available under "Select another style".
