Guided walking tours in the Student City of the Year

In the year 2020, a lot is very different, but we still hope that you as a student are excited about your upcoming studies here in Borås. Of course, we are disappointed that we cannot welcome you and your fellow students with an Introduction on campus as we usually do. Yet despite the current situation, we are pleased to offer this city tour in which we have taken certain measures in planning in order to do our best to avoid the spread of Covid-19 as far as possible.

We start at the statue Catafalque, also known as “The Lazy Student,” which is located at Akademiplatsen 1, just outside the University Library. During the 90 minute long walking tour that follows, our guide will show you a selection of what Borås has to offer. You'll learn about good ways to get to the university, tips on activities for your free time, nice places to hang out, as well as some practical information, and much more. At the same time you, will also be able to get to know your new fellow students!

For our international students, we offer two guided tours in English; these tours are marked with "eng" in the registration.

We follow the Public Health Agency of Sweden’s restrictions. If you feel the least bit unwell, we ask you to stay at home! To cancel, please contact Jonas Martinsson.

The walking tours of the city will take place on a number of occasions and have limited spots; first come, first served!
