Research grant proposals: a genre of academic writing

Arranged by: Academic Communication

Facilitators: Mats Dolatkhah, Peter Klason, Stefan Permanto, Grants and Innovation Office

Research grant proposals differ from other forms of academic writing, regarding style, rhetoric and argumentation. The Grants and Innovation Office (GIO) offers a seminar on how to write research funding proposals in an efficient way. The seminar will include tips and advice on best practices and avoiding common mistakes. It is intended to be relevant for most major research funding organisations in Sweden and EU such as VR, Formas, Forte, KK-stiftelsen, Horizon Europe and Vinnova. The main target audience of the seminar is researchers involved in writing proposals to these and similar programmes.

No registration is necessary. This seminar will be held in English.
