The new Textile Fashion Center in Borås

From autumn term 2013, the Swedish School of Textiles will be housed inside what was once Svenskt Konstsilke’s factory. Svenskt Konstsilke, which manufactured everything from thread for gala attire to the material used in tyres, was founded in 1918 and at its peak had 800-900 employees. The factory was in production until 2007/2008.
