“I am so delighted and excited to be a part of the team. I'm also thrilled to be writing in a creative way again and am looking forward to representing Borås on the Study in Sweden platform, says Lusanda Ntintili.”
From 150 applications, SI selected 13 students who will create content for the student blog, Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram.
“I will be sharing the responsibility with other Digital Ambassadors of writing blog posts that appeal to current and prospective students in Sweden and they will be partly informative, partly give insight into our daily lives as students and of course, partly humorous. Blog posts will be posted every couple of days and we'll be updating our Instagram feed and stories daily.”
Beside this, her studies in fashion marketing and management will continue as normal.
“I’m in my first year of the programme; before, I studied at LISOF – a fashion college in Gauteng, South Africa. I chose the Swedish School of Textiles because I was inspired by how progressive Sweden has seemed with the sustainable development in apparel and textiles. I had been working as a Merchandiser and Designer at an apparel factory for the last two years and the goal of the company was to be sustainable, but I realised there was more I could learn in a Master's that's focused on this issue so I could help improve the industry back home."
