Textile Design students at Dutch Design Week

The design is characterised by material focus and an experimental desire. The Swedish School of Textiles is one of the few universities in Europe with design education where both industrial processes and artistic processes are taught and are part of everyday life at school.

-          Dutch Design Week is an international platform centrally located in Europe. The fair stands for high design value, cutting-edge design, and experimental methods. So it is an obvious place to, with the help of degree projects, show the values ​​and character of our educational programmes. Our students' degree works shows the shows valuable experimental and artistic elements as well as the advanced methods in the textile design field. And is a good complement to the other courses in fashion or in product design exhibitions at Dutch Design Week, says Marjan Kooroshnia, senior lecturer at the department of design at the Swedish School of Textiles.
