Health allowance to double

"The Vice-Chancellor has now decided, in dialogue with the Vice-Chancellor’s Advisory and Quality Council, to increase the health allowance budget. This has allowed us to increase the health allowance to SEK 2,000. We will also see over the gym," says Sara Svensson, acting Director of HR.

"The issue of wellness is important and we know that there have been requests from many employees for some time for an increase in the health allowance. The hope is that the health allowance will lead to increased well-being for the university's employees.”

Vice-Chancellor Mats Tinnsten also sees the investment in wellness as an important measure.

"Our employees are the university's most important resource and despite the economic situation that we are in, it feels important to prioritise wellness.”
