New plan for Days of Knowledge

Days of Knowledge, arranged since 2014, is a collaborative project between the University of Borås, Sparbanksstiftelsen Sjuhärad, Sparbanken Sjuhärad, and the City of Borås.

"The arrangement highlights sustainable development and the collaboration that exists in our region. We want to highlight good examples, including by showing the research and education that take place here at the university,” says Annie Andreasson, Director of the Communications Office at the University of Borås.

This year, Days of Knowledge will be a digital breakfast meeting that takes place on Tuesday, 1 December. There will be a live broadcast from campus in which invited guests will have the opportunity to take part in the broadcast remotely. All employees at the university will also receive a link so that they can follow the broadcast live. The broadcast will be held in Swedish.

"During the event we will, among other things, reveal which two people have been named Alumnus of the Year as well as who will receive this year's Social Media Prize. We will also highlight the Student City of the Year award and the university's research supported by Sparbanksstiftelsen Sjuhärad.

"The fact that we have changed this year's event to a digital one gives us the opportunity to offer more people the chance to take part in the substantial programme, which is a positive," concludes Annie Andreasson.
