Record number of applicants for spring term 2021

Last year, 4,545 applications were submitted to the university's freestanding courses. This year, the same figure is 11,669. Most applicants applied to the course Law of Social Welfare.

When it comes to educational programmes, applications have increased from 1,526 to 1,864. Most applications have been for the programme Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

The university is offering slightly more courses and programmes in spring 2021 compared to last year. In 2020, nine educational programmes and 65 courses were offer offered. In spring 2021, 12 educational programmes and 71 courses will be offered.

"It's great that we have so many applicants this time around! We have developed a range of courses suitable for those who want to develop their skills. The increase in applicants is also no doubt due to the fact that society is currently in an uncertain situation, and in those times it is always a good idea to invest in an education,” says Mats Tinnsten, Vice-Chancellor.

There are still courses and programmes open for late registration
