Professor Jan Nolin has passed away

In his role as Professor of Library and Information Science, he was for many years a key figure in the development of the university, both in his field and for the university as a whole.

Our colleague and friend Jan Nolin's contribution to the academic discourse was always positive and carried an intellectual strength not least from his background in the theory of science. His passing is a profound and personal loss for many of us.

The department has a memorial table in the lunch room in the C4 corridor, where a condolence book is available for anyone who wishes to write commemorative words.
