Department of Textile Technology
I work as a doctoral student with a focus on graphene and its capacity to be involved in smart textile applications. I study the chemical surface modification of textiles for further graphene oxide coating, and further designing a textile-based catalyst and a fully textile reactor made out of iron-doped graphene yarns and stainless-steel yarns as cathode and anode of the electro-Fenton mechanism for wastewater treatment in large and industrial scale.
I also develop conductive fibers based on conductive polymers. My work includes the use of chemical, mechanical and physical approaches.
I have worked at the University of Borås since 2016. I have a bachelor's degree in technology with a specialization in textile technology from Azad University of Arak (2010) and a master's degree in textile technology from the Polytechnic of Turin (2017).
I have participated in two major research projects in smart textiles; development of electroconductive graphene-coated fibers on a large scale in collaboration with Inuheat AB and Swerea IVF, financed by SIO Graphene and optimization of production of polymer-based conductive fibers via CVD technology, financed by Smart Textiles. I am part of the research group “advanced textile structures”.
