The university IT systems is moving towards a Microsoft-based environment which means vibe will be decommissioned during 2022.
Vibe will be closed at the end of June 2022.
Vibe is a collaboration platform with the possibility of common workspaces with, among other things, file storage, blogs and simpler project tools. Vibe has been available in the university system for over ten years, but in recent years has almost completely ceased to be used. This, combined with the fact that we are moving towards a Microsoft-based environment, means that in 2022 Vibe will be phased out.
Those who have stored files in their personal workspace in Vibe and who want them to remain available, must move these to another storage space no later than 2022-06-17.
Information that is on common workspaces is handled by the owners of the workspaces.
The information management plan controls how long information is to be retained. In general:
Work material (draft / unfinished material) must be cleaned when it is no longer needed. Copies and duplicates that are preserved elsewhere must be removed. For more information, see the page Preserving and archiving. Contact the archivist if you are unsure.
