Register for Lounge & Learn 20 September

The University of Borås actively participates in external academic collaborations with several organisations, in which is necessary to regulate the terms and conditions for a proper implementation. At same time, such collaborative projects may generate intellectual property assets expected to render societal benefits. Contracts are, therefore, essential legal tools for ensuring that projects run smoothly, promoting good communication among the participants, and achieving the desired outcomes.

This Lounge & Learn will present the governing contractual principles for Swedish Universities and some key considerations for the effective contract management, which include: clearly defining the purpose, determining the roles and responsibilities of all participating parties, the inclusion of the necessary provisions for the correct project implementation and procedures for addressing any issues or disputes that may arise during the course of the projects. It would be an excellent importunity to ask questions, get advice on issues that need to be addressed during the planning phase and get the necessary legal support for the success of your project.
