Support from the university
The Communications Office can, as time permits, carry out the editing of scientific and scholarly texts in English, generally at a cost that is internally charged. There are also in some cases resources or routines within each Faculty for editing. The editing of signs, webpages, etc. is part of the Communication Office’s regular work, as well as language review of doctoral students’ thesis titles, back cover texts, and abstracts. Please contact the Communications Office for more information.
If no one employed at the university can edit your text, the applicable framework agreement is to be used as a first choice to engage an external provider.
The Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency framework agreement
Follow the procedure that the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency’s framework agreement specifies. Direct procurement can be an alternative if the framework agreement cannot meet your needs. Contact the university’s procurement unit at the Finance Office if you have any questions.
The framework agreement also includes services such as translation, proofreading, subtitling, voice over and transcription.
