Supervision Series

This workshop for PhD supervisors is open to new and relatively new doctoral supervisors at University of Borås. It is an opportunity to explore some of the demands and challenges of research supervision with colleagues from different disciplines in an interactive and interesting way.

Nick Hopwood is coordinator of Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) Academic Coordinator for the School of International Studies and Education at UTS, author of several publications about doctoral education, and owner of a popular blog aimed at supporting postgraduate research students and early career researchers. Nick has also supervised many doctoral students and received supervision awards

Nick has been a guest workshop facilitator in UB’s Supervising Doctoral Supervision course (Att handleda doktorander) since 2019, and his workshops have been greatly appreciated by course participants.

The workshop will be in English.
