You must register so as not to lose your place in the programme or courses to which you have been admitted. You must also create a student account in order to be able to log in to the university's systems, for example our learning platform.
You must create your student account to gain access to the systems you need for your studies, such as the learning platform and Ladok for students, where you register for your courses. You will also get access to a student email account.
Please note, you must select English as your language. In the next step select "pincode" as authentication method.
You must register so as not to lose your place in the programme or courses to which you have been admitted. When you register for a programme or course, it means that you are confirming your admission and have decided to pursue these studies.
Please note - the registration is between 3 January and 11 January.
For courses starting 21 March and onwards, the registration is between 7 March and 15 March.
You must be registered to participate in the educational programme and for results to be reported from exams, laboratory work, or other study achievements.

- When you click on the link below, you come to the login page for Ladok for students.
- Click on choose university, and search for “Borås”. Then a link to the University of Borås will show, proceed to log in.
- To log in, use your student account number (S22XXXX) in the box where it says “studentidentitet/användarnamn” and your chosen password in the box where it says “lösenord”. When you are logged in, you can change language to English.
- Register on the courses you are admitted to.

In the Course and Programme Portal, each course and programme has its own webpage. There you will be able to see welcome letters, contact information, course syllabi, course literature lists, programme syllabi, evaluations, and other documents. In short, everything for your course or programme.
During the spring and autumn, the university will gradually change its primary learning platform and go from using PING PONG to Canvas. This means that during this transition period, you can have access to both learning platforms. You will be informed by your course coordinator where your course is placed.
To log in, you must be registered for a course and have an active student account at the University of Borås.
(Once your student account has been created, it may take some time before the account is linked in Canvas, in which case wait until later to log in there).
For those using PING PONG:
Once you have registered for your educational programme and created your student account, you can log in to PING PONG. You use the same login that you have to your student account at the University of Borås.
Via the university's website and mobile services, you can read your email, keep track of your schedule, and see your study results. These services can be found on a common webpage.
As a student in a distance educational programme at the University of Borås, you can use all of the services the University Library provides. For example, you can have books and magazine articles sent to you and from home you can access most of the databases that the University Library subscribes to.
