Open e-services for open science

The project focuses on the two orthogonal dimensions open vs. closed content and open vs. closed file formats for digital artifacts developed and managed within the context of Open Science, where publishers, libraries and other institutions play a central role. The work brings together expertise from the two universities around open file formats and open access to publications and research data. Outcomes are expected to contribute to policy development and practical management of publications and data. Initial results include the development of a model for analysing data and identifying relevant sources for data collection.
