External project funding - Application process

These funders are Formas, Forte, the Swedish Research Council, the Swedish Institute for Educational Research, the Knowledge Foundation, Vinnova as well as Region Västra Götaland (VGR) as well as the EU.

Routines for externally-funded projects

In order to ensure that projects are properly administered in both the application phase and during implementation, administrative routine descriptions have been developed.

Read more about administrative routines for externally funded projects and administrative routines for projects financed through the EU framework programme (Swedish webpage).

Project Certificate

The project certificate must be prepared and signed in accordance with the rules established by the university's administrative routines for externally funded projects. This must be done before the research application is submitted.

Download the project certificate (PDF).

If you have any questions about the Project Certificate, contact GIO.

Researcher's Certificate

The form is used to receive certificates from each individual researcher to ensure that all agreement commitments in H2020 and Horizon Europe are to be followed. All researchers participating in the project are to sign the Researcher's Certificate.

Download the Researcher's Certificate (PDF).

If you have any questions about the Researcher's Certificate please contact Zuleyma Montenegro de Rynge, Legal advisor at GIO.

Time Sheets

Each researcher has only one Time Sheet for all Horizon projects and years.

The Time Sheets are tied to the individual and not one particular project. Time Sheets for specific projects are created through choosing (expanding) the projects for which one wants to show a detailed Time Sheet that can then be printed.
