AI Foundry functions as a common development environment where models can be trained, deployed and continuously improved. Textile Data Hub gathers and structures data from the entire value chain – from production to use – and enables advanced analysis and traceability.
A central focus is to create working models for collaboration between humans and AI. It is about both technical solutions and how AI is integrated into work practices, decision-making processes and organisations.
RA5 supports all other research areas by providing infrastructure, tools and methodology. At the same time, the field is driving the development of new AI artefacts, such as multimodal models, digital twins and decision support systems.
In the long run, RA5 will become a platform for scalable and applied AI innovation in the textile industry – where ideas can quickly be turned into workable solutions in real environments.
