Through generative models and predictive analytics, designers can be supported in creating products that are both aesthetically attractive and technically feasible. AI can, for example, propose design solutions based on recycled materials, simulate function and service life, or anticipate demand to reduce overproduction.
An important focus is the interaction between humans and AI. Instead of replacing the designer, AI acts as a creative partner that reinforces decision-making and enables work with greater complexity.
RA3 also helps connect design closer to production and use, for example through digital twins and data-driven product development. The result is a more integrated and responsive design process that supports circular business models and reduces resource use across the value chain.
