Overconsumption results in millions of tons of landfilled clothes every year which destroys the positive effects of technical and material innovation. That the average consumer buys a new garment every 5 days while 3 of those are landfilled within the same year, proves that humans lack care for garments.  When we care for a person we find it hard to imagine a life without them. So what if we could learn to take care of our garments the way we take care of our beloved ones? Dating Garments explores the creation of attachment between human and garment, based on how we get to know other people.
