Academic publishing: current practices and future strategies

In this joint seminar arranged by the research groups in the department the focus will be on academic publishing. Some of the questions addressed are:

• What's the goal of publishing?
• How do we publish (audiences, genres, languages,) and why?
• Is there a need for a joint publication strategy at the department, or are the other ways in which we can support purposeful publishing?

This seminar is aimed at the staff of the Swedish School of Library and Information Science. The seminar will start with a short introduction by Björn Hammarfelt which will be followed by joint discussions.
