Dr. Amira Sofie Sandin (she/her) is a Library and Information Science researcher with a particular interest in children´s and youth libraries. Her research interests concern activities and methods in the library service for children and young people, children and young people’s culture and spare time activities, as well as critical perspectives on research methods with young people.
Amira Sofie joined the Swedish School of Library and Information Science, University of Borås in 2010 and successfully defended her PhD thesis in 2021. Since then, she has been involved in research projects about children’s libraries.
