Crime Science Workshop: New Frontiers in Urban Safety and Crime Prevention
This workshop explores the development of Crime Science from its early foundations to contemporary applications and emerging frontiers in crime prevention.
Hosted at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), the day will begin with a hybrid morning session featuring a keynote lecture by Professor Kate Bowers (UCL, Jill Dando Institute) on advances in crime science and their implications for safer cities. The afternoon programme will bring together participants around three thematic topics, fostering discussion on current challenges and future directions for research, policy, and practice.
