The Alumnus of the Year award is presented annually to two former students who have made a special impression after their studies. Everyone connected to the university is welcome to nominate candidates.

“Alumnus of the Year is an award that we have had the pleasure of awarding to several good ambassadors for the university, and now it's time to make nominations for Alumnus of the Year 2022. Those alumni who receive the award must be good role models and they must have made valuable contributions regionally, nationally, or internationally after their studies,” said the university's Pro-Vice-Chancellor Kim Bolton, who is chair of the jury group for Alumnus of the Year.

Nominations for Alumnus of the Year 2022 are open until 30 September 2022.
