Highly respectable first runner-up award for Elisa Tattersall Wallin

“I feel so happy and honoured. It feels completely unreal. I would not have gotten here without my three fantastic supervisors: Anna Lundh, David Gunnarsson Lorentzen, and lastly Jan Nolin, whom we unfortunately lost recently. This award is in their honour!” said Elisa Tattersall Wallin.

The Swedish School of Library and Information Science has never before had a doctoral thesis nominated and no one in the Nordics has previously received this award. The winner of the first prize this year comes from the University of California, Berkeley in the USA.

Elisa Tattersall Wallin is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science; she received her doctorate in March 2022 with her highly regarded doctoral thesis on audiobook reading.
