Final activities in the W4TEX project - to strengthen women’s managerial skills in the textile sector

To build on the "Be A Manager" e-learning platform, an interactive course that includes twelve interactive modules to strengthen knowledge of textiles, leadership, teamwork, and quality etc., the project has developed a Women Think Green Toolkit. This toolkit includes resources for learners and mentors/educators, with in-depth units focused on both sustainability problems, and green strategies to meet those challenges. Additionally, factsheets and case studies provide learners with accessible information and inspiration about women making sustainability a reality, which can be reinforced through engagement with practical scenarios.

Some selected resources were showcased during several innovative learning experiences held in the partner countries, in the form of national and transnational ‘Ideathons’. These events have been detailed in a comprehensive Trainers Guide, with training materials to help interested educators replicate the successful methodology.

All project resources are available in 7 languages: Swedish, English, Italian, French, Spanish, Greek, and Ukrainian — making them accessible for many in the multicultural education environment in Borås and Sweden.

Other resources developed within the project include:

  • 12 vidcasts highlighting women entrepreneurs/change makers around Europe
  • Articles detailing the succesful implementation of National Ideathons, like the one held in Borås on December 1, 2025
  • Other inspirational and informative content communicated on the project website and within the different social media channels
