World’s Children comes to Borås

This year, the fundraising campaign is also part of a friendly competition in which Borås is challenging Markaryd. The University of Borås is taking part, including with its own collection box.

Why has the university chosen to get involved?

“For a higher education institution, we have a responsibility to contribute to a sustainable and compassionate society. By taking part in World’s Children, we can make a difference together for children who need support, while also showing what we in Borås can achieve when we unite behind a common cause. Hopefully, we can also help Borås win against Markaryd,” said Ann-Christin Andreasson, Director of Communications Office at the University of Borås.

What can employees do?

“The university has started a collection box where you, as a member of staff, can donate money. The box is already open, and all contributions, large and small, are welcome.

During the campaign period, we will also follow the fundraising efforts and report on how Borås is doing in the competition against Markaryd.”
