The award ceremony will take place in cooperation with The Swedish School of Textiles in conjunction with Scandinavia’s leading international textile conference, Borås Textile Days, at the Textile Fashion Center in Borås, Sweden, on November 14th.

Ellen Hodakova is a visionary who possesses craftsmanship inherited through generations. Her unique approach to sustainability revolves around putting craftsmanship at the forefront by choosing existing products that are transformed into entirely new fashion pieces. How she handles materials, cuts, and deconstructs garments challenges all previous conventions. Since 2021, she has been running HODAKOVA from Stockholm and has received international recognition in the past year. She graduated from the BA Fashion Design programme at The Swedish School of Textiles in 2019.
