Erasmus Mundus in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy

The ME3+ programme is an integrated and innovative programme combining Energy and Environmental Process Engineering together with Management and Social Sciences, and integrating the information and communication technology (ICT) for a 2-years full programme (120 ECTS).

The program is delivered by 5 European partner universities and aims to develop strong knowledge within one of these 3 possible study tracks:

  • Renewable energy integration
  • Resource recovery for the circular economy
  • Smart cities and industry 4.0.

If you choose the track "Resource recovery for the circular economy" you will spend your third semester in Sweden at the University of Borås, and study together with students at the Master programme in Resource Recovery - Sustainable Energy Processes. You will also do a Master thesis within the field of resource recovery and get a double MSc degree, one with a major in Resource Recovery - specialisation Energy Technology from the University of Borås and the other in Process and Bioprocess Engineering track Project Management for Environmental and Energy Engineering (MSc PBPE /PM3E) from IMT Atlantique.

Here you can read more about the Master Programme in Resource Recovery - Sustainable Energy Processes.

Programme and research in Resouce Recovery at the University of Borås

Swedish Centre for Resource Recovery (SCRR), at the University of Borås, is conducting world leading Research, Education and Innovation to significantly reduce the global fossil fuel consumption and approach sustainable society. We identify new and improved methods to convert residuals into different kind of value-added materials and energy. Innovations that result from our activities will help to reduce greenhouse gas effects and other environmental challenges, while creating circular economy.

The research at the University of Borås is carried out in several equipped laboratories.

All the researchers, postdocs, PhD, MSc and BSc students use the equipment in their theses and project works.
