Program: Elevate English Track

Welcome to Elevate – English Track! This program has been developed especially for the English-speaking students, by the program managers for the master’s programs at the Swedish School of Textiles. The program is of course available to all students who are interested!

The track will contain a mix of sessions for career development and industry integration that will allow students to listen to/meet with company representatives, alumni, PhD students, as well as retrieve information about how to prepare for landing the job of your dreams.

Prepare for Elevate

The University’s study and career guidance counsellors, in collaboration with various stakeholders, have put together opportunities to help you prepare for Elevate, for example through a LinkedIn workshop and a lecture on how to best compile your CV.

10:00-10:50 Alumni panel (Location: Vestindien C)

Are you curious about how the path from studies to working life might look like? During this panel discussion you will meet alumni from our master’s programs at the Swedish School of Textiles who will share their experiences, career choices, and insights from the industry. Take the chance to ask questions, get inspired, and make meaningful connections for your own future. Welcome!

11:00-11:50 Academic Career (Location: Vestindien C)

A panel with primarily PhD students but also present academics with an international educational background.

Speakers: Golzar Daneshzad, Roya Aghadavoud Marnani, Jan Tepe , Emanuel Gunnarsson, Marie Persson.

13:00-13:50 Idea Lab (Location: T378a/b)

An entrepreneurial workshop by Sebastian Roll, Drivhuset.

Idea Lab: Create, Collaborate, Explore
In this fast-paced, interactive one-hour workshop, we’ll explore creativity as a starting point for entrepreneurship. You’ll get a first taste of creative idea development and try out simple tools designed to help you generate ideas, challenge assumptions, and discover new perspectives.
During the hour, you’ll work together with others, experiment with different ways of thinking, and build on existing ideas to see where they might lead. The focus is not on creating the perfect business idea, but on becoming more curious, creative, and open to new possibilities.

No previous experience or business idea is needed. Just bring your curiosity and be ready to create, collaborate, and explore.
