We will focus on writing and updating a research project’s data management plan (DMP), from the application stage to archiving and potentially sharing data. You can choose to attend individual workshops or join the entire series. We also offer a separate workshop tailored to the artistic domain. Book the dates and your place now!

Workshop 1: The DMP in Grant Applications

 Date: Tuesday September 12th
Time: 9-11 AM

During this session, we will delve into writing a DMP that can be used in a research grant application.

Workshop 2: The DMP During a Project

Date: Wednesday October 4th
Time: 1-3 PM
Venue: J2519

Join us as we explore updating and fine-tuning your DMP based on the choices and decisions made throughout your ongoing research project. We get acquainted with FAIR data and delve into the specifics of data management. We also discuss secure data sharing within the university and with external partners.

Workshop 3: The DMP and Finalizing a Project 

Date: Wednesday November 1st
Time: 9-11 AM

This session focuses on the final phase of your project. It highlights DMP considerations for archiving and long-term preservation of data. We also look at the possibility of making certain data available in repositories, and publishing articles in data journals.

Workshop 4: Research Data & Artistic Research 

Date: Tuesday November 14th
Time: 08.45-10.45 AM

This workshop caters to researchers in the field of artistic research, but all are welcome! We will focus on the concepts research data, paradata, and metadata. We also explore aspects of copyright and intellectual property rights.
