The goals for 2017–2019 are thus fixed until new goals are decided, with the clarification that Agenda 2030 and the 17 global goals will apply as a guide for all parts of the university's work for sustainable development and the follow-up of the same.

Decisions on the new goals will be made no later than August 2021. During the spring, a working group and a reference group will be appointed to continue working on the goals for HU.
