Who do you think should be Alumnus of the Year 2021?

Last year, the University of Borås established the Alumnus of the Year award. The Alumnus of the Year award recipients for 2020 were Hanna Claesdotter, of the Design Technician Programme, and Fredrik Logenius, of the programme in Business Informatics.

And now the nomination period for Alumnus of the Year 2021 has opened up; everyone with ties to the university is welcome to nominate a candidate.

"Both Hanna and Fredrik are fantastic ambassadors for us, and now it's time to recognise two new alumni. We are looking for people who have made valuable regional, national, or international achievements or efforts after their studies," said Kim Bolton, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the university, who is also chair of the jury group for Alumnus of the Year.

The nomination period runs until 31 August and you can submit your nomination via a form on the university's website. The announcement of the winners is scheduled to take place in conjunction with Days of Knowledge on 1 December 2021.

A basic criterion for receiving the award is that the candidate must have passed at least 60 credits (or 40 credits according to the degree scheme that applied before 2007), at the University of Borås, which corresponds to one year of full-time studies. It is also highly meritorious if the candidate has a degree from the University of Borås.
