Third best in the country when it comes to internships, plenty of accommodations options close to the university, good transport links to everything Gothenburg has to offer, and a good range of sports and leisure activities: that’s why Studentum describes Borås as a top city for students.

We at the university have even more reasons more to add to the list. Our campus is uniquely located in the city centre and Borås is not just a place known for sports, but a city that stands out for its culture and textile focus, as well. And of course, the University of Borås is located here – one of the country's strongest higher education institutions with over 60 degree programmes at different levels, not to mention its strong and successful educational and research environments.

Great ranking

Borås received the honour of being ranked eighth among the top ten.  Lund received first place honours and, also in Västra Götaland, Gothenburg was included as well, in spot number three.

To determine which of Sweden's approximately 30 university cities should make the list, Studentum sent out a survey to find out what was most important when choosing a place to study. Those answers then formed the basis for the parameters that produced the rankings.
