Large international presence at Resource Recovery conference

The conference was organised as part of the FULLRECO4US project funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology, EU-COST.

Professor Mohammad Taherzadeh, coordinator of the COST project, is very pleased with what has been achieved during the two years of the four-year project so far. Various forms of collaboration among the participating universities and business and industry have been initiated and the formation of a network of doctoral students researching resource recovery is underway.

“There is significant interest in collaborations between academia and business and industry. Representatives from IFU, the International Fruit and Vegetable Juice Association, and companies in the field of sewage and waste management attended the conference,” said Mohammad Taherzadeh.

The remaining work in the project will deal with consolidating collaborations and expanding the network.
