Opening hours and loan periods during summer

Opening hours during summer

During the summer library opening hours varies. Below are the opening hours during summer:

June 8 - July 5: Monday-Friday 10:00-14:00
June 19: Closed
July 6-26: Closed
July 27 - August 8: Monday-Friday 10:00-14:00

During the closed period in July you have access to electronic resources by the website as usual. It's also possible to contact the library by e-mail.

Loan periods during summer

This means that all books borrowed during June, July and August have a loan period that extends over the entire summer, the return date being September 2 at the earliest. You can therefore rest assured that you will not have to return any books in the middle of the summer.

If you still want to return books, you can do so 24 hours a day, if you are affiliated with the university and have a chip that allows you to enter the building. The book return machine accepts books even when the library is closed. If you are not affiliated with the university, you can return books during the library's opening hours.

Interlibrary loans

Interlibrary loans works with the exception that we will have limited service. Other libraries may be closed for the summer, which may make it more difficult for us to order books from them.

Summer loan (as described above) does not apply to interlibrary loans. If the library from which we have borrowed the book demands its return, you must immediately return it to us.
