Digital Identities, 7.5 hp
Spring 2027
Part-time 50%, Mixed times
No obligatory attendance
This course looks at how identity is built and performed online, and at what happens to selfhood when much of social life takes place through screens, platforms, and digital bodies. You will read theory, discuss, and above all make things: you will map your own social media presence, build avatars of yourself and your opposite, spend time living inside an online game, and design a character from scratch. This is a foundational design course in fashion design, and it widens our understanding of fashion and identity from something tied to the physical world to something that now also takes shape in digital ones. The course is offered in English.
