A study of the challenges and opportunities of digitalization for teachers in higher education during the Covid pandemic

The research focuses on employees who represent established professions such as healthcare workers, teachers, police officers and others, and how their autonomy, influence and commitment are affected by digitalization in general, as well as how they are affected by digital management, control and organizing practices. When the Corona pandemic hit, this issue became even more relevant as the pace of digitalization within the university was scaled up from initially being planned to extend over a couple of years to directly transitioning to digital teaching. When the pandemic hit teachers were expected to completely transition to digital teaching with virtually no time for preparation.
