Multilingual classrooms in the schools of Växjö (Fläx)
Students' opportunities to learn increase if their teachers design a teaching where both language and knowledge content in the school subjects are focused and can be developed in parallel. In addition, multilingual students' learning is promoted if they are given the opportunity to use their different languages as resources in language, knowledge and identity development.

The project is carried out at two F – 6 schools in Växjö municipality, and the whole process is characterized by the researchers working closely with the schools' principals and teachers.
