The purpose of this interview study is to describe parents' experiences of previously receiving soft massage as well as parents' attitude towards such massage.

Soft massage means touching the skin in a soft way with light strokes with the whole palm (SBU, 2007). For increased knowledge about how professional support in the form of soft massage should be offered to parents in the future.
