The study aims to gain knowledge about how employees at public libraries relate to reading promotion and its opportunities for strategic development. Some of the research questions that are being investigated in the project are about how the employees regard and use digital tools and media, how they relate to the libraries’ (potential) users, and how research within library and information science may contribute to sustainable professional development.
