Reducing Superfluous Returns – the Creation of Sustainable e-business

There is a growing problem with the increasing returns and I will investigate how companies' sustainability is affected by this and whether companies can use new digital technology to support a reduction in the number of returns.

Today, on average, 22% of all clothing purchased online is returned in Sweden, but the proportion varies between 18-60%. This high rate of return may affect companies' profitability and sustainability. Transporting goods back and forth is not only costly for companies but also for the environment. I want to investigate how we can reduce the number of returns and lower negative environmental impact.
