Spacerpad´s current design is fully functional with good performance according to the smaller user tests conducted in 2019. In 2020, enough items will be produced for the user studies to be carried out in Kenya in the autumn. The production of the sanitary towels to be distributed during the studies is planned to take place at the School of Textile´s lab and is partly manual.

In the last week of April, Max Anderhell and Lena Berglin made a number of sanitary towels, checked a number of options for the workflow and measured the time for each step. One of many steps in the development of the future production process.
