The objective of the project is to renew textile education through developing micro-credentials. Recent research and demands of the textile industry are the basis for the development of textile education in form of micro-credentials. We develop micro-credentials within the textile value chain with focus on 1. Textile fibers and materials, 2. Textile technology and 3. Circular economy. The micro-credentials enable education on different levels of knowledge, which educate learners ranging from basic textile education to further education and specialization into matters of sustainability and recent topics of development in textiles.
