The project aims to investigate how private technology providers influence the organisation of municipal health and social care as welfare technologies become integrated into everyday operations. Particular attention is given to how responsibilities, control, and decision-making authority are distributed between municipalities and providers, as well as the dependencies that emerge.

The goal is to contribute new knowledge about how collaboration between public and private actors shapes the digital infrastructure of welfare services. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights to support municipalities in the procurement, implementation, and long-term management of welfare technologies.
